THE END OF A YEAR, UM..."OFF" APPROACHES*

* not what I did all year

Before we hit the end of the year, it behooves me to give a brief little update as to what's going on. My year "off" that I mentioned months ago in my last post is almost over, and what that means is that 2023 is going to be a bit more normal. To be more specific, I'm hoping to hit a few conventions again this year, and maybe venture out and maybe even do something smaller here and there to get the books out.

Also, since THE GIRL WHO STOLE THE SUN released in 2021 and we're on a bi-annual schedule, I'm hoping to release the Odyssium Collection Volume 2 in 2023. No firm release date is set, but I am hoping very much to have everything set to go for it by March at the latest in the event my usual big Spring convention gets everything back on track. As for details on the Odyssium Collection Volume 2, I think it's getting to be time to let you all know what's in that book. So, that's a near-future blog right there...expect it sometime around or after the holidays.

Beyond that, here's proof that I haven't just been sitting on my duff all year:

* Near line-by-line rewrite of Tides of Odyssium #1.

* Revision and refresh of 2017's HOUSE OF FALLING RAIN, much like what was done with the 13th PARAGON books. The story is the same, just brought the dialogue and details up to my current standards.

* Final editing pass of Odyssium Collection Volume 2. Should be going to the professional editor shortly.

* As I type this, I'm taking a break from a year of editing by writing something completely new. Let's save that for the next blog, so this one doesn't run too long. Till next time, take care.
